TRIP INFO
Mountain Klek is the cradle of Croatian mountaineering and alpinism. The sleeping giant, as it is called, will offer you a unique view of the Ogulin area and mountains Bjelolasica, Risnjak, Sveta Gera and Medvednica. Hiking tour starts in village Bjelsko, approximately an hour's drive from Karlovac city. In the beginning, we will climb gradually through the beech forest for approximately 30 minutes. There is the Klek mountain lodge situated at an altitude of 1000 meters where we will take a short break. Trail continues along the steep terrain fortified with ropes and steel cables. On the way to the 1173 meters high peak, we will cross 547 meters of height difference in total, with an average gradient of 24%. Trail is approximately 3 kilometers long which will take us roughly and hour and half of hiking, depending on the group. At the top of Klek we will take a break and use the free time for taking photos or just relaxing and enjoying the view. Once the group is ready, we will head back to Karlovac.
This offer includes a professional and licensed guide, transfer to the starting position and accident insurance. The number of guides depends on the size of the group.
To participate in Hiking tour Klek, a minimum level of physical fitness is required. Children over the age of 6 can join the tour accompanied by an adult. It is recommended to wear comfortable hiking boots, cozy sport clothes, a cap or hat, SPF sunscreen, sunglasses, food and drinks for personal use. Also, bring spare clothes so you can change at the end of the tour.
KAMAT Adventure Travel is not responsible for damaging or losing your personal belongings. Each participant is obligated to follow the guide's instructions to avoid endangering themselves and other people on this trip. The guide has a right and obligation to refuse participation in the tour to people who are under the influence of alcohol or narcotics. In that sense, refund of the paid funds will not be available.
According to weather conditions, the organizer has a right to cancel the tour.

LOCATION:
Meeting point is the parking lot in front of hotel Korana Srakovčić from where we organize a tranfer to the start of the trail in village Bjelsko. We will end our tour at meeting point.
